About Camper Shoes?
Founded by Lorenzo Fluxa in Mallorca, Spain, in 1975, Camper was born to respond to the need for a fresh footwear style.
Lorenzo’s family had a long history of shoe-making and bought the first sewing machines to the Island of Mallorcas in 1877.
Today Camper Shoes has over 500 stores worldwide, but the shoes are still designed and developed on the small Spanish island. A young creative team works alongside experienced artisans to create a variety of unique models each season.
Camper Shoes Review
Camper has been making regular fashion shoes as comfortable as they can for years. The company is well known for producing great quality wide-styled shoes, which are lightweight and durable.
Designs are unique while remaining simple and snug while still allowing movement to ensure you can walk all day pain-free.
Camper Peu Shoes Review
Inspired by walking barefoot, the Camper Peu range features shoes that incorporate a novel ergonomic design, where shoes are engineered to retain the benefits of going shoeless.
The Iconic Peu range of shoes features elastic zigzag laces and extra width to accommodate and adapt to the shape of your foot, meaning these sneakers are designed for your foot to melt into them.
Described as Stylish yet comfortable, Simple yet complex, these 360 degree stitched sneakers are built using a Strobel construction technique which guarantees unmatch flexibility and durability.
Peu shoes are manufactured for men, women, and kids.
The price of a pair of camper Peu adult shoes starts at $155, rising to $215 for the Peu Customize range.
The Peu kids range starts at $70, rising to $90.
The Men’s Peu Shoe has received five reviews to date, receiving a 5-star review rating.
Customers advise the shoes are true to size in both fit and width; they are made from great-quality leather and are comfortable and super stylish.
Excellent quality leather, sleek style, ultra-comfortable! Love it! Been wearing them nonstop since they arrived. No break-in time! I wish you guys would provide multiple colors for the laces, for different options.Five-star review @Camper.
The Women’s version of the shoe did not fare quite as well but still received a 4.1-star rating from 11 reviewers.
Reviewers were happy that the shoes were so comfy, described the shoe as a great women’s multi-use shoe, dressy or casual, and they loved that they were light and easy to wear.
I love Peus, but they are so much more narrow than they used to be hence my 4-star rating. I go up a size for the width, but still…and it’s also really unfortunate that the soles crack and make the shoes unusable.
Other styles of Campers can have soles replaced, making them last AGES – but unfortunately not Peus…really disappointing that Camper doesn’t sell replacement soles for this style. These specific shoes are a great color and just how I expect them to be as far as quality – very, very good4-star review @Camper.
Camper Twins Shoes Review
The Camper Twins range is one of the most innovative, creative, and fun shoes we’ve ever reviewed.
In 1988 the company challenged the idea that shoes must be identical; they decided to design shoes where the right shoe was different to the left, and so the Twins range was born.
The fun, mismatched styles are a great conversation starter, and even though each shoe is different, they coordinate beautifully.
Unfortunately, there is not enough room in this Camper Shoes review to feature all the shoes from the range, so we’ve chosen a few of our favorites.
The Multi-colored Twins sandals for women feature yellow and white upper leather straps, a yellow TPU outsole with extraordinary grip, and a 20% ABS heel.
Camper Shoes Twins multi-colored sandal for women costs $130. This sandal is also available in black, grey, and red.
One customer has given these Camper Sandals a five-star review, sharing that the sandals are chic, comfortable, and are true to size.
Camper Men’s multi-colored Twins sneaker is another funky pair of shoes; you’ll definitely not go unnoticed wearing these sneakers.
The sneakers feature a leather upper with white laces, and a white 51% recycled extra light EVA outsole to keep you light on your feet and absorb shock.
Camper Twins Men’s sneakers cost $170. These sneakers are also available in grey and black tones.
Four customers have reviewed the Twins sneakers, giving them an average 3.5 review rating. Reviewers thought the shoes were the lightest shoes they’ve ever owned and loved the design.
Customers recommend that you should purchase 1.2 sizes larger as the shoes are a snug fit.
One customer left a one-star review:
Camper Sizes are one number down, so I use a 12 (45). I should have ordered a 13 (46). I am 55 years old, and I have used a 45 all my life, so I would suggest that the sizes be reviewed since I do not believe that I am the only customer with the same problem.One-Star review @Camper.
These Camper girls’ twins shoes are what little girls dream of. If only my girls were still small enough to wear them!
These red twins sandals feature 100% leather uppers with velcro for easy access; they also include a cute violet detail at the top.

All customers loved the shoes; they stated that they were of excellent quality with a great fit, the shoes are comfortable and stylish, and are perfect for a day walking.
My first pair of Pelotas lasted ten years of nearly daily use. I never entirely destroyed them, even at that, but needed to move on as I feared I’d never get a new pair of shoes if I had to wait for them to break. These things are extremely durable and are a lifetime piece that I’ve never seen in a shoe before. Absolutely can’t recommend them enough.Five-star review @Camper

4 and 1/2 stars. This is my third pair of Wabis after many years and my favorite color so far. It is super comfortable, light, and cozy at the same time. I particularly like the rubber non-skid sole (I would not do without it after slipping with a felt wool sole.
They are immediately easy to wear with or without socks – and these days I wear them nearly all day! A minor (half star) for wish for a little increased arch support, but it’s not a dealbreaker for me. I love the design.4-star review @Camper Shoes.

Camper Shoes Reviews From Other Sources
As part of this Camper shoe review, GNGuide reviews various other sites worldwide to understand better what Camper customers think about the products.
We started our search on the Trustpilot site.
As we had read such good reviews on the Camper site, we were surprised to learn that the brand only scored an average rating of 1.6 stars, with over 81% of customers providing a bad review.
Reviewers shared their disappointment with bad customer service and quality issues – several customers had received defective or the wrong shoes.
We bought a pair of shoes from Camper in March. Unfortunately, we received the wrong pair of sneakers. After calling several times and about three weeks since we started calling customer service, we still don’t receive the promised email to return the wrong shoes and receive a refund of what we paid for the ones we bought.
We called and emailed camper, and no news at all. It’s so frustrating as they have our money, we don’t have any shoes, and the owner of the ones we have, for sure, is also waiting on his side to receive his product. I doubt that this is even legal.One-star review @Trustpilot.
Amazon Reviews were much more positive and aligned with the Camper site reviews. The Camper Men’s Peu sneaker received an average rating of 4.5 stars from over 870 customers.
Numerous customers commented that the shoes were a great minimalist shoe; the shoe was comfortable, and they thought the rubber gripping at the bottom was great.
I bought these after seeing them on a stranger’s feet. It looked so cool I needed to get some. I wear 10.5 US usually and got the ones listed as 11. They fit perfectly. This shoe design is roomy in the roe box, so make sure you like that before you buy. Similar to that Hawaiian shoe brand that starts with an O.
Also, as others have mentioned in reviews, there is no support for your foot in these. Very minimalist design with a thin sole, and you feel the hard ground on your foot. I like that, make sure you do too before you buy. It came with two sets of laces! Dark brown in addition to honey-colored ones. That was a pleasant surprise.Five-star review @Amazon.
