Alex Mill Clothing is a new and modern clothing retailer that specializes in versatile, go-to closet staples that you’ll keep reaching for.
The advantages and disadvantages of this clothing brand will be discussed in our Alex Mill buyer’s guide.
Alex Mill Review
Alex Mill is a New York City-based startup that manufactures everyday necessities.
In recent years, the brand has reestablished itself by offering a great selection of easy-to-wear essentials that will become the basis of your closet.
The brand prides itself on providing timeless, not trendy, core styles that everyone wants. They then add something distinctive to them, to make them iconic. The company doesn’t want to go out of style, so make pieces that you can wake up and put on without overthinking it.
New York City serves as an inspiration for the brand. We love how their designs are influenced not only by the city’s chaos, hustle and bustle, and adrenaline, but also by quieter moments like reading a book on the subway or having a family dinner at the Odeon.
Are Alex Mill Sustainable?
Alex Mill works under the assumption that no one needs new clothes right now. But everyone needs the right clothes. So they manufacture them!
The brand focuses on several initiatives aimed at reducing waste. Additionally, and where possible the brand aims to extend the life of the garment.
Without a doubt, the brand is doing everything possible to produce environmentally friendly clothing. Up to this point, the company has upcycled 1,547 garments into one-of-a-kind designs. Furthermore they do not incinerate or landfill unsold inventory; instead, these items are sold to off-price retailers or kept in archives for a sample sale.
Furthermore the brand is constantly looking for new ways to repurpose its leftover sampling yardage. Since 2019, the brand has used this yardage to create reusable travel-size laundry bags for their customers, which they include free with their purchases.
In addition to these initiatives, the brand collaborates with FABSCRAP to collect, recycle, and track pre-consumer textile scraps.

According to customer feedback, the short overalls are heavy but not too hot, and they fit perfectly. Customers also found the overalls to be comfortable.

Super cute and get lots of compliments. Fit true to size. Don’t let price fool you tho. These are not high quality shoes. Just thin, summer, light wt, cute af shoes.Five Star Review @Alex Mill
Garment Dyed Work Jacket in Upcycled Denim
Alex Mill designed the Work Jacket in collaboration with The New Denim Project, a Guatemalan family-run zero-waste textile mill.
As you can see in this shirt, the New Denim Project upcycles post-industrial textiles to create beautiful fabrics. Upcycling is the process of reusing discarded materials to create a higher-quality product.
This Work Jacket features strong upcycled cotton twill that can be worn casually with a t-shirt. On the other hand, it also adds some workwear toughness to a dress shirt and tie.
There are flecks of natural cotton throughout, giving it a one-of-a-kind feel. Variations in fabric appearance may occur due to the nature of the upcycling process, but this is what makes it so unique.
The Garment Dyed Work Jacket is $175 and comes in navy and golden olive.
At the moment, there are eight reviews with an average rating of five stars.
Customers say the versatile jacket has a nice weight to it and a nice texture. Furthermore comments include that the jacket is a great fit, made of high-quality fabric and that many people believe it will last for years.
Yah, what to say…this is on par with all the other cool stuff on offer. Good cut, good fit, classic-level garment that is flexible in how you rock it. In the couple months I’ve owned mine, it has not gone out of style – and I don’t think it will.Five Star Review @Alex Mill
Standard Pleated Pant in Chino
These Chino standard pleated pants are another great piece. For their pleated Chino, Alex Mill developed a proprietary wash that combines the sturdiness of a dry military chino with a slightly broken-in feel.
Furthermore, the cropped Chino’s are made of 98 percent BCI cotton and 2 percent elastane, have a signature A button, and a gusset at the crotch for comfort.
Chino’s standard pleated pant costs $125 and is available in Oat Milk, Black, Golden Khaki, Dark Navy, Military Olive, and Vintage Khaki.
The Chinos have twenty reviews with an average rating of five stars.
These pants have received a lot of positive feedback. Customers praised the pants for their comfort, as well as their distinctive features, particularly the pleats and cuff details, and the softness of the fabric.
Novesta Star Master Lowtop Sneakers

For added comfort, these low-tops have an anatomically shaped insole that molds to your foot.
The Novesta Star Master Lowtop Sneakers retail for $89.
