Alex Mill designed the Work Jacket in collaboration with The New Denim Project, a Guatemalan family-run zero-waste textile mill.
As you can see in this shirt, the New Denim Project upcycles post-industrial textiles to create beautiful fabrics. Upcycling is the process of reusing discarded materials to create a higher-quality product.
This Work Jacket features strong upcycled cotton twill that can be worn casually with a t-shirt. On the other hand, it also adds some workwear toughness to a dress shirt and tie.
There are flecks of natural cotton throughout, giving it a one-of-a-kind feel. Variations in fabric appearance may occur due to the nature of the upcycling process, but this is what makes it so unique.
The Garment Dyed Work Jacket is $175 and comes in navy and golden olive.
